2025–W20 #
- Installed Jenkins. I don't love GitHub actions and tbh Jenkins has had a real glow up. Being able to clickops your way around is great when you're doing small things. I know how unweildy a Jenkins install can get when you don't use declarative configuration (or
Jenkinsfileetc) but I will simply: not make it that bad? - Took the broken Chromebook that I didn't really have a purpose for and it's now my amd64 server (including Jenkins build client). It draws like 4W of power. It'll also replace
remote.h.insm.cf-- a VM I used to run on my workstation for remote access. That way I can turn off / sleep my workstation more often. - Mounted my Bose 151 speaker and amp to a tripod stand and it's the other side of the office. This clears up my personal computer desk (vs. work computer desk) and I have a Belkin cable which lets me charge my phone while giving me a 3.5mm out so I just use my phone for music (Jellyfin, web apps, Youtube Music).
- Painted the
tilde.townserver pink. Many coats, but it could do with a clear-coat over the top. The chances of transfer are high? - Doing some CNC routing in wood again: dice boxes. They are going well.
- Also made a fresh silicone mold of a D20 I designed a few weeks ago and polished up.
- Last Sunday I decoupaged my desk. It looks bad. It did not go well. I'm keeping it. Now it looks punk-af. The punkness was not intentional.
- Wrote a little Go program for slicing up and reordering parts of images.
- More dizziness than usual this week. Not great.
- I did my first React: customizing the look of status.colocataires.dev
