Despite having two sit-stand desks in my office I've added a VESA stand + laptop mount (that my wife pointed out at a thrift store) and I find that better than having my "main" desk (the one with a monitor and microphone) raised. Now I can move between two standing locations or sit down (and I have a comfortable chair to sit in -- one which isn't at a desk -- but I often compete with a beagle for it.)
Back using ollama, having put my NVIDIA Tesla M4 into a machine in my basement. Still not using it a lot but it's nice to have a local thing to play with. I tell myself when I read the Little Learner I might do some CUDA. We shall see.
Doing some more Ruby for work. Weird that I'm warming up to it -- when I was more-or-less forced into it for Shopify I never liked it that much (and I had a lot of imposter syndrome as some of the best Ruby devs in the world work there) -- but now that it's almost deprecated at my current place I have more of a soft spot. Especially when I look at what fully type-annotated Python looks like 😬
