Unhappy with Thunderbird I've tried out Geary (too simple) and am currently trying out aerc, for a mostly text-mode experience but with the option to open text/html parts in the browser. So far so good, but it's not very far.
Colocataires' fibre with CANIX was lit up this week, which is great, and we're successfully exchanging IPv4 but the IPv6 is ... slightly wrong in a way that I don't understand. Configuring the Aruba switch was a little different than how I've done things with Cisco and HP Procurve in the past, but we got there. We've had to drop the IPv6 session, temporarily.
I set up a soft-box key-light for video calls and I like it so far. It's also a pretty pleasant light, when not on calls, and unlike the LumeCube I am not always worrying about it running out of power.
I have not had good vibes about the use of LLMs in our industry, this week. The vibes: they do shift, don't they?
I caught up with a few folks this week, some of them for the first time in years. That was good.
