I had to raise a server up in my homelab by 2/3 of a U. Now everything is a tight fit but it looks great.
The homelab has been stable, as I have stopped fucking with it.
Finished the new Colocataires site: very pleased. It's been a hit, more or less.
I also have "liberated" three of the four Chromebooks (Jack helped with #1). I'm mostly just putting Trixie as it's what I have on-hand but it's tempting to try out Guix on one of these. Why not?
These are ten-year-old i3's but they feel much faster than the N5040 that's in my other cursed Chromebook / headless-thing: lava. CPU benchmark sites they should be roughly equivalent (although the memory access times are way lower on the i3). Perhaps having a real SSD (albeit SATA) vs. an eMMC is the main difference?
